When you scan documents on Scanner Vault, the app defaults to a black & white filter over your scans. Otherwise, this article will also describe the steps you can take to create a black & white effect:
1. Using camera filter
On the camera view, you will be able to see a toggle at the bottom of the page, "Color" or "Black & White".
-
Tap on "Black & White" to select a default black & white filter for your captured scans
-
Position your camera over your document and capture your scan.
-
You should be able to see that your captured image is automatically converted to black & white.
2. Edit scanned image
If you have already scanned your document in color, you can still edit it to black & white.
-
On homepage, tap on the document you wish to edit. Then, tap on the page you wish to edit to black & white.
-
Tap on 'Advanced Edit' to open the Edit screen.
-
On the Edit screen, you will see a row of edit tools at the bottom. Tap on 'Filter'.
-
Select either 'Text 1' or 'Text 2' for the most suitable black & white filter for your image.
-
Tap on 'OK' → 'Confirm' when you are satisfied with the image.
